Work Performed
What We Did Today
- Full water chemistry test (pH, FC, TA, CH, temp) — readings logged above
- Chemistry balanced with sodium bicarbonate (2 oz) and calcium hypochlorite (0.5 oz)
- Filter pulled, rinsed, inspected — reinstalled (no replacement needed yet)
- Chiller inspection: condenser coils clean, compressor sounds normal, no refrigerant leak signs
- Pump and circulation check — running smoothly, no leaks at plumbing connections
- Surface cleaning and waterline wipe (biofilm prevention)
- GFCI outlet test — passed
What We Noticed
Issues & Recommendations
⚠ Filter approaching end-of-life
Your current filter cartridge is approximately 70% through its life — pleats showing more compression than they should. We'll plan to replace it at your next visit (May 7). Replacement filter is $45 with your Premium 25% member discount.
⚠ Chiller running 2°F warmer than set point
Within normal range, but worth keeping an eye on. Most likely just ambient heat from the recent stretch of warm afternoons. We'll re-check next visit. If the gap widens to 3°F+, we'd want to look at refrigerant levels.
✓ Keep doing what you're doing
Your chemistry is genuinely great — pH and alkalinity are both centered, sanitizer is right where we want it. Whatever rhythm you've found between visits is working. Don't rinse the filter with hard water at home (we use filtered water on-site).
