View a sample →Cold plunges have taken off across the Front Range — in homes from Boulder to Castle Rock and in recovery studios from RiNo to Cherry Creek — but the service side hasn't kept up. We're here — the dedicated cold plunge & hot tub service company, now serving Denver with a dedicated Denver-area tech team and professional maintenance, repair, chiller service, winterization, and water chemistry for residential and commercial cold plunges and hot tubs across the metro, and beyond it by scheduled appointment.
Sub-freezing nights can turn a power blip or a stalled pump into frozen plumbing and a cracked chiller heat exchanger. Thin, dry air at a mile high speeds up evaporation and makes condenser airflow matter more, while high-altitude sun breaks down covers and seals. Hail and heavy spring snow beat up lids, cottonwood fluff clogs filters, and soft, low-alkalinity snowmelt water lets pH swing if it isn't balanced deliberately. Denver plunges need a service partner who plans for all four seasons. The Cold Standard exists to be that partner.
We just went live in Denver — and our first Front Range customers get three things that won't last past launch:
Our core routes cover the Denver metro, from Boulder to Castle Rock. Fort Collins, Loveland, Longmont, Colorado Springs, and Evergreen and the foothill mountain towns are served by scheduled appointment, with travel quoted up front before anything is booked. If your zip isn't listed below, tell us and we'll confirm.

Common questions from Denver and Front Range cold plunge and hot tub owners.
Yes — we're live across Denver and the Front Range now, servicing both cold plunges and hot tubs with a dedicated Denver-area tech team as part of our nationwide service network. Certified technicians handle maintenance plans, one-time deep cleans, repairs, chiller diagnostics, and water chemistry. Book a quote and we'll get you on the schedule.
We do — as a dedicated cold plunge and hot tub service company with technicians based in the Denver area. Most Front Range plunge owners have been stuck calling pool techs (who don't understand cold-water chemistry), HVAC contractors (who'll touch the chiller but won't balance the water), or guessing from YouTube. The Cold Standard fixes that gap with a dedicated, certified service model.
Denver pricing matches our standard rates: residential plans from $169 every 4 weeks for monthly Essential service, $299 every 4 weeks for biweekly Premium service, and $599 every 4 weeks for weekly residential service (52 visits/yr, $150/visit effective). Pay-as-you-go quarterly deep clean at $375 per visit, or $399 flat for a one-time no-commitment deep clean. Commercial plans for gyms, recovery studios, hotels, and spas range from $279 to $999 every 4 weeks based on visit frequency. Founding customers who book during launch lock in these rates for their first year.
Our core service area covers Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Englewood, Littleton, Centennial, Highlands Ranch, Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village, Arvada, Westminster, Thornton, Broomfield, Golden, Parker, Castle Rock, and Boulder. Beyond the metro, we service Fort Collins, Loveland, Longmont, Colorado Springs, and Evergreen and the foothill mountain towns by scheduled appointment — request service and we'll send a quote with travel included before anything is booked. Not sure if we reach your zip? Send it over and we'll confirm.
Winter is the biggest risk for outdoor plunges on the Front Range. A plunge that's circulating and chilling normally is rarely the problem — trouble starts when the water stops moving. Power outages, a tripped GFCI, or a pump fault on a sub-freezing night can freeze exposed plumbing, quick-disconnect lines, pumps, and the chiller's heat exchanger, which is one of the most expensive parts to replace. We check that lines are insulated or kept short, that the cover seals, and that GFCI and power are reliable, and we can set up a winterization plan — or fully drain and blow out the system — for plunges you won't use through the cold months. If your unit stops running in freezing weather, call or text us right away.
Not the water itself — but the equipment around it, yes. At roughly 5,280 feet the air is thinner, so a chiller's condenser moves a bit less heat with the same airflow; keeping coils clean and giving the unit open space to breathe matters more here. The sun is also more intense at altitude, so UV breaks down cover vinyl, seals, and exposed plastics faster than at sea level — a breathable shade or a UV-rated cover protectant extends their life. Our annual chiller service checks coil condition, airflow, refrigerant pressures, and compressor health before summer.
A few things are specific to the Front Range: (1) very dry air speeds up evaporation, especially on hot tubs, so water levels and chemistry drift between visits and need regular top-offs; (2) Denver Water draws largely from mountain snowmelt, which tends to be soft and low in alkalinity — great for scale, but low buffering lets pH swing, so alkalinity and pH need to be balanced deliberately, while some suburban districts that blend in groundwater can run harder; (3) hail and heavy spring snow can damage covers and lids, so we inspect them every visit; and (4) spring cottonwood fluff and pollen load up skimmers and filters fast. Fresh fill water is balanced on every deep clean.
Yes — gyms, recovery studios, boutique fitness, athletic clubs, physical therapy and chiropractic offices, med spas, and hotels across the metro, from RiNo, LoHi, and Cherry Creek to the Denver Tech Center and Boulder. Commercial plans run from $279 to $999 every 4 weeks and include compliance-grade documentation (water test logs, chiller inspection records, before/after photos), staff training, and multi-unit pricing. High-traffic recovery spaces see heavy daily use, which is exactly where consistent service matters.
Book during our Denver launch and you lock in: (1) priority scheduling on our first Denver routes, (2) founding-customer pricing for your first full year, and (3) no commitment — start with a one-time service and add a plan only if you love it.
